    Greetings parents and caregivers of young children! My son has always been a fan of numbers and letters. In fact, he named his cat Numbers and Letters when he was three. One of my most cherished memories (which I captured on my phone and listen to every once in awhile when I’m feeling nostalgic) includes my then-two-year old son sleepily reciting his ABCs and 123s while falling asleep.

    Learning for young children can be made easier and a lot more fun at the Capitol Hill Library, 334 SW 26th Street, when the Musical Mom comes to call.

    “Rock and Read With the Musical Mom” is a series of programs at Capitol Hill Library on Tuesdays, October 1, November 5, and December 3 at 6:30 p.m. The sessions are designed with babies, toddlers, preschoolers and their families in mind.
